How Wallstrike handles information on our sport and game websites.

These notices cover the public Wallstrike websites, including wallstrike.com, game.wallstrike.com, play.wallstrike.com, wallstrike.be and wallstrike.nl, as well as their newsletter and demo pages.

What do we use?

  • Newsletter: your name, email address, language and subscription status. We use these to send the updates you choose to receive. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Website statistics (optional): after you choose Allow, we measure pages visited, referrers, campaign parameters, browser and screen details, a visit identifier and time on pages to understand website usage and campaigns. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). We do not start this tracking before you allow it. You can refuse or withdraw consent at any time using Privacy settings in the footer of either website.
  • Security: our hosting may keep technical logs (including IP addresses) to operate and protect the websites. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security.

Once analytics are allowed, the visit identifier is passed between pages without a persistent analytics cookie; these visits still constitute usage data. We use one functional preference cookie (ws_analytics_consent_v1) to remember your Allow/Deny choice for up to 180 days across wallstrike.com and its subdomains; a separate preference is stored on wallstrike.be and wallstrike.nl. You can change your choice through Privacy settings in either footer. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops further analytics requests.

Who helps us?

We use Scorekeeper for newsletter subscriptions, plus website-hosting and email-delivery services. Steam and social networks have their own privacy policies when you follow their links.

How long?

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, except where limited records are needed to respect that request. Current retention periods for technical data:

  • Website analytics: 30 days
  • Server logs: 30 days

Your choices

Ask us to view, correct or delete your data, or object to its use. You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time. You can also contact your data protection authority if you have a complaint.
